We have been overwhelmed by the number of great applicants eager to open their homes and hearts to a kitty or two. With the high volume of applicants and limited staffing, we appreciate everyone’s patience as we try to keep up with the current demand for adoptions.

DUNE

Dune is the absolute sweetest, softest, squishiest boy in the world. He loves being groomed by other kitties and chasing them around to play, so if your kitty is looking for a playful companion he would make the perfect little brother. He loves attention and cries when he's lonely so he wouldn't make a great solo cat. This sweet little fluffy baby is looking for his purrfect furever home where he’ll get lots of snuggles and playtime!

PETIT BLANC & PETIT GRIS

Petit Blanc and Petit Gris are a bonded brother-and-sister duo with hearts as sweet as they are gentle. They are a little shy at first and may take some time to trust their humans, but once they feel safe, they truly blossom into the most loving and cuddly companions. They became a cherished part of their foster family’s routine, especially at bedtime, where they happily joined the kids to listen to stories and snuggled with both toddlers and babies. They adore sitting on laps, purring contentedly for long stretches of time, and they enjoy playing with children and with each other. Overall, they are calm, affectionate, and incredibly gentle cats

TOMMY & WINTER

The Ellie to his Joel, sweet and gentle Tommy has adopted Winter as his daughter. The two met at Catfe and have been snuggling up a storm ever since! Tommy is handsome, sweet, cuddly, and so, so friendly. He’s a cuddle monster who just wants nothing more than being hugged, kissed, and smothered in love. Tommy is a sweetheart with the tiniest meow and softest personality. He’s a gentle soul; all he wants is to lie on your lap or in your bed and spoon. Winter is a kind and shy at times purr machine. She loves to play but also loves to cuddle up on you or beside you. She is very loving and thankful for any attention. She loves pets and making biscuits on her purrson. Winter is a very easy going and chatty girl. This adorable little family would love to settle down in the safety of their own furever home, together! Tommy’s brother Tiger is also here at Catfe!

TIGER

Tiger is handsome, sweet, cuddly, and so, so friendly! He’s a cuddle monster who just wants nothing more than being hugged, kissed, and smothered in love. Tiger is an outgoing sweetie with a mischievous streak with his food - he likes to hunt it out in your kitchen, so make sure you close the cupboards! He’s a cuddle bug as well, and loves belly rubs and being pet all over. Expect him to follow you into the bathroom and want more pets. There is nothing he loves more than going for a ride on your shoulder or back! He would love to go to a home where he can get lots of love and attention from his human(s). He is here at Catfe with his brother Tommy!

GINNY & GEORGIA

Georgia and Ginny are a delightful whirlwind of playful energy, always ready for their next grand adventure! Their days are a blur of chases after bouncy springs, valiant pounces on feathered wands, and daring ascents to the very top of the tallest cat trees, often culminating in the sweetest, most tangled cuddle puddles. Georgia, with her boundless confidence, is usually the first to charge into playtime or demand ear scritches, but shy Ginny always watches from a careful distance. Yet, the moment Ginny sees her sister basking in the glow of attention and loving pets, her own little heart swells with courage, and she'll scamper over, eager to join the fun and get her own share of adoration too. Together, these two bring endless joy and purring chaos, each one encouraging the other in their own purrfectly playful way.

COBWEB

STATUS: APPLICATIONS OPEN

Smart, brave, and slightly reserved, Cobweb has a clever spark about her. She enjoys engaging toys and thoughtful playtime. Though independent, she appreciates gentle affection and time with her favorite humans. She is here at Catfe with her sister Fang!

FANG

A thoughtful and observant kitten who prefers to watch the world around her. Fang is a little timid at first, but her curious eyes are always following her siblings’ adventures. With patience and love, she’ll blossom beautifully. She is here at Catfe with her sister Cobweb!

NIKI & PUMA

STATUS: APPLICATIONS OPEN

Female / Male, 8 months

These two babies came into the rescue’s care as ferals and over the past few months have become cuddly and sweet with patient love and kindness. Puma (m) is easier to come out of his shell and loves being pet. He is full of purrs and cuddles. He also LOVES to play and rip around the house with his sister Niki. Niki is a little more shy and cautious, but she also loves being pet. The bonded brother-sister duo LOVE playing and ripping around with one another. These two play together, eat together, sleep together and relax with one another; they are two peas in a pod.

SPOT

Spot is a little cutie with a black spot just above his nose! He is playful and sweet, and loves to play with toys (little spring toys are the BEST!). He doesn’t love being held but he loves getting pets. He is patient with kids and loves hanging out with his brother Tiger Lily, who is also here at Catfe!

TIGER LILY

Tiger Lily is a little cutie with a white spot just above his nose! He is playful and sweet, and loves to just chill, or play with toys (little spring toys are the BEST!). He can be a bit shy at first, but warms up quickly. He is good with kids and loves hanging out with his brother Spot, who is also here at Catfe!

HURBERT & KIBBLE

STATUS: ADOPTION PENDING - INTERVIEW SCHEDULED

Meet the adorable black panthers Hurbert (m) & Kibble (f). This dynamic duo are the sweetest kitties. They came into the rescue’s care very shy and scared but have quickly settled in and are thriving. Hurbert loves to be loved and will come to you craving attention. He especially loves to cuddle up beside you on the couch as close as he can squeeze in beside you. Kibble is much shyer and takes longer to settle in to new surroundings but when she does she is a total love bug. She especially loves to have a good snuggle with you in bed at night. These two are your typical energetic and curious kittens but so well behaved and incredibly gentle. Both are very good eaters and eat their dry and wet food really well. They have yet to refuse any treat they have been offered but especially love their Churu’s. They would do best in an adult home as they do still startle easily and don’t like fast movements or loud noises. They are looking for their furever family who will be patient with helping them settle into their future new home!

CHOW MEIN

Chow Mein is a gorgeous kitty with the softest black fur you’ll ever touch. This sweet girl is very food motivated - if you’ve got treats, you’ve already won her heart! She’s a people-lover who enjoys attention, but she’ll also let you know (with the gentlest little love bites) when she’s ready for a break. Because of this, she’d do best in a home with older kids who understand cat boundaries. Chow Mein is playful, curious, and always ready to explore her surroundings. She is not a fan of dogs, but she would likely do well with another friendly kitty companion to keep her company. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, and entertaining companion, Chow Mein might just be your purrfect match.

KOBE

STATUS: ADOPTION APPROVED

Male, 1 year

Meet Kobe, a cuddle-expert and fetch-master all rolled into one adorable fluffball. This playful and affectionate kitty loves nothing more than chasing wand toys, pouncing on crinkle balls, and packing around his favourite springs. But when playtime is over, he's a professional snuggler. Kobe will happily curl up on your lap for a long, purring snooze. Kobe would be a wonderful addition to a home where he can be an active participant in family life. An ideal family would provide him with plenty of playtime and attention to satisfy his curious and fun-loving nature. Kobe would do best in a home with another playful cat. He’s also good with dogs.

IMOGEN

STATUS: ADOPTION APPROVED

Imogen is the sweetest lap cat ever! Since her last litter of kittens have been adopted, she has focused all her love on her people! She waits at the door for you to come home, meows and circles your legs to greet you, and asks for pets. Imogen has realized that laps are comfortable for naps - especially if you are willing to let her stay for an hour or more! Imogen has also discovered her love of play - chasing balls, springs and bugs, playing with balls in tracks and wand toys. Imogen is laid back, and would thrive in a home with someone who is available to show her the love that makes her happy. Imogen is good with children, and in a busy house.

JINGLE

STATUS: IN FOSTER CARE - APPLICATIONS OPEN

Female, 1 year

Adoption Fee: $350

Are you looking for a new family member to make your heart melt and shower you with love? This girl is very special and will make you feel very loved, but she will require some patience as she does have some trust issues. It took her a couple of weeks to come out of hiding when she first arrived at her foster home, but while hiding, she was happy to have her foster family reach into the cubby she chose to give her lots of pets. She wants to trust. Within 6 weeks in foster care, she slowly but surely came around and now cuddles when she is in the mood and started sleeping on her foster parents’ bed. Jingles cannot get enough of being pet and will roll around, giving head butts for more. She may give love bites when overstimulated. Jingle loves and enjoys being around other cats, so a household with a friend or two is best as she is social. Once she came out of hiding (about 2 weeks), she was quickly comfortable in the house and with other cats and has been very persistent to cuddle and play with them. She does not appreciate being approached quickly, especially reaching towards her head/face and would rather you let her come to you, but when curled up for a nap, she’s now not minding being approached and loves the attention. She’s very well behaved, likes chasing toys that roll so she can kick them around and prefers scratching pads on the floor versus a post. She’s very happy go lucky. Talk about having patience rewarded! She is a gem and a very special girl.

CATFE ALUMNI - HERO

STATUS: IN FOSTER CARE - APPLICATIONS OPEN

Male, 1 year

Adoption Fee: $350

Hero is a timid cat until he feels safe in your home, but once he gets comfortable in the space, he becomes a playful, curious, and affectionate cat. He will roll around in front of you for belly rubs and is a very loving boy that will flourish in a patient home. He is food motivated, loves treats, but is hesitant to be pet and takes his time to warm up. Hero is good with both dogs and cats with a proper introduction, and would love to go to a home with another chill kitty pal to snuggle with.

ADOPTION APPLICATION PROCESS: All the cats at Catfe are available for adoption. Each cat has been vet-checked, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and treated for fleas. We are partnered with various rescues and shelters in BC to source our adoptable cats, and it is our goal to find responsible, loving homes for each and every one of them.

Each cat’s personality is unique. Due to the high volume of applicants and limited staffing, we are only able to process applications from visitors who have met the cat in person. If you fall in love during your visit and would like to apply to adopt a cat, the cat whisperer will provide you with an application form to fill out.

Please note: we are only able to contact the selected applicant for an interview. (It may take a week or so for us to get in touch — please check your junk mail.) If you are not contacted, you can check the cat’s status as it is updated on their profile during the process. Adoption approval is based on the best match for the cat’s needs, and not first-come-first-served.

ADOPTION PENDING: If it says “Adoption Pending” on a cat’s profile, it means we are currently conducting interviews with selected applicants. New applications will be placed on a back-up list for that cat and will only be considered if the adoption is not successful.
