Mac and Machi are a sweet pair of bonded bros. Mac is a soft-furred cutie with a heart of gold! This sweet guy will claim your lap anywhere you sit and lean in for pets and cuddles. He can be a little shy at first but warms up quickly, especially when he has a cat companion to boost his confidence. Mac is a sweetheart with a kind and loving personality. He enjoys playtime and is very gentle and easygoing. Machi is a gentle and shy young cat with stunning markings! He can be a little timid initially and prefers a high perch to observe until he’s more comfortable. Once Machi feels “at home” you will meet the sweetest, most warmhearted little cat. He loves to play with spring toys and chase the laser pointer. He also never skips mealtime and emerges with purrs and rubs to make sure you don’t forget his wet food. Machi really shines in the evening, when the house is calm and he can ease into a cuddle with his humans. He sleeps so soundly cuddled up to you, which is one of his favourite places to be.

Hero and Fluffy are a sweet pair of bonded brothers. They can be very shy at first when getting used to new people and new surroundings, but once they do, Hero will roll around in front of you for belly rubs, and Fluffy will headbutt you for cheek rubs until he's had his fill! Both kitties are very loving boys and will flourish in a patient home. Once they have settled in and feel safe, they are curious and love to play with toys! They are food motivated, love treats, but are hesitant to be pet and take their time to warm up. They are good with both dogs and cats.

Meet Lightning and Thunder! They are almost twins and you would barely be able to tell them apart! The only difference is that Thunder has 2 white whiskers and a tiny bit of white on his tummy amongst almost all black whereas Lightning has more white. Lightning LOVES to play and chase strings or basically anything that moves. He seeks adventure and is a very curious cat. He loves wrestling with his brother Thunder but also loves to sleep and cuddle with him. He has quite the purrsonality and it’s so fun to watch! He LOVED the bigger/energetic dog in his foster home who charged into their room wanting to sniff and play with them, and Lightning just came running over and rubbed all over him. Lightning tries to play with his tail and chase it. He definitely doesn’t seem to be afraid of anything or even nervous for that matter, so would do great in a home with a playful cat-savvy dog or cat. He’s a squirmy little thing so usually can’t be held onto for long. Now that he’s a bit older, he will sit in your arms for a bit and is a bit calmer but is definitely a cat that loves to play. Thunder is definitely an adventurous one and LOVES to play! He’ll play with his siblings, toys, blankets…pretty much anything. He loves to run around and he loves food! He and Lightning constantly switch their food plates and compete on who can finish their plate first! He loves to purr and loves his back scratches on his lower back by his tail. He raised his fur a bit when the big/energetic dog in his foster home approached him, but once the dog sniffed him, he would cautiously inspect the dog. He loved to play with the kids in his foster home. The boys would thrive in a home that wants an nice balance of adventurous/playful cats who loves to play with other cat-savvy cats and dogs, and also likes to sleep with you at night and love some affection.

Nigella and Quinoa are bonded sisters. Nigella is the fluffiest and was the smallest of her litter (their siblings Poppy and Chia are also here at Catfe!). Her love of food has her catching up to her other siblings and she is now flourishing. Nigella is a sweet and sensitive kitty but also has a fun side and likes to rough house with her siblings. Nigella is learning to enjoy pets and will even purr. She has come a long way and will benefit from continued love and attention so that her true sweet self can shine. Quinoa is a sleek black micro panther except for a distinguishable patch of white under her chin and on her belly. She is the protective big sister and will ensure her siblings are safe before she joins in on the fun. Once she relaxes, she really gets into playtime and cuddling with her siblings. Quinoa was a spicy girl but has come a long way. She will be a cuddly sweet girl in no time with just a wee bit more patience, love and attention.

Chia and Poppy are a bonded brother-sister duo. Chia is the only boy in the litter (their sisters Nigella and Quinoa are also here at Catfe!). He is also the most playful, bravest and laid back. He will have intense zoomy sessions but then go into full on chill mode. He is learning to enjoy tummy rubs and loves to explore new things and toys. This fun sweet guy will make a wonderful companion with lots of continued love and attention. Poppy is the bravest girl in her litter. She is an enthusiastic athlete who loves to play and cuddle with her siblings. Poppy enjoys being petted and will lean right in and start purring. She is blossoming into a fun and confident girl.

Kolby (lighter coloured nose) and Silky (darker coloured nose) are a loving pair of bonded sisters. Both are very affectionate and loving, they love to be close to their humans, including of course sharing the bed. Kolby is braver and quicker to trust or approach you for affection. Silky also loves affection but takes a bit longer to not run away at first. They get along with other cats in the household but tend to gang up on the other cats if they are trying to show who is boss. They mostly stayed away from the dog in their foster home. There was a younger child in the home that they loved to play and snuggle with once they learned to trust.

River's sweet disposition and social nature with other cats make her an ideal companion for a home that can give her time to build confidence. Lynx is such a sweet heart, very curious about what her people are doing, and likes to join in, and be with them. When people are sitting she loves to curl up on a lap and purrs like a little purring machine; she especially likes sitting on people who are wearing fleece...and she kneads them for ages, and grooms the fleece! She very sweetly waited outside the door of any room her foster mom went into, and greeted her foster family at the door when they'd gone out and come home-- she is such a people cat and is most happy when she can be around them. She is playful and loves jumping/catching strings, batting springs (toys) around, and finding hair elastics to carry and bat around. She explores and likes to climb up to high places to check everything out. She was very gentle with her foster family's kids, and she loved to cuddle up with them when they read, and allowed them to carry her around like a baby. She also has a cute warbly and purry way she "talks" when she is comfortable around people. When in "play mode" she has on occasion batted or nipped a person, but it's pretty gentle and she seems to catch on right away when redirected to a spring or ball to play with. She would need an enclosed litter box as she tends to be messy with her litter! She would be a good fit for a person/family who will be around a lot and can play with her and offer her a lap to sit on and purr on daily!

Disa, our beautiful black female, may be initially shy with new humans, but she grows more confident daily, taking cues from her vibrant orange companion, Durin. While she carefully builds trust, he happily serves as her brave explorer and showing her that the world is full of wonderful things. Disa loves to jump and explore high ground on her own terms, but doesn't enjoy being picked up - she prefers to navigate the world under her own power. Both are absolute foodies (especially Disa!) and play enthusiasts who can spend hours chasing flirt poles and pouncing on toy mice. Their special bond is evident in their adorable ritual of grooming, cuddling, and greeting each other with sweet head bunts. Both get along wonderfully with other pets, making them excellent companions for homes with existing dogs or cats.
