Hermione loves boxes and hiding spots, and Bella loves her spring toys. They can be a bit shy at first, but once they settle in, they warm up and show their sweet, playful sides. Both came from local properties and were spicy little babies at the beginning. Once Dolly realized that people give great belly rubs and butt scratches, she became very friendly and affectionate. She now adores attention and rubs around your legs asking for love. She'll flop over for belly rubs and purr loudly while making air biscuits. Dolly also has a very cute habit of suckling her own back toes. She is such a beautiful girl inside and out. Brim took awhile to trust people and she still gets a little nervous so will take some time to adjust to a new home and family. Dolly has helped her learn that people are good and as long as Dolly is by her side, Brim will be okay. Brim loves head/ear scratches, and butt scratches, and she loves to rub her face all over your hands while giving the cutest little kisses. These two girls really love each other and can be found cuddled up almost every night together. They groom each other and follow each other around during the day. They do spend time apart but it's never that long. Both girls are very playful and they run around chasing each other, but both also love to play with all kinds of toys, like ball towers, ping pong balls, furry toy mice, crinkle balls, springs, Boinks, silvervine sticks, and they are great at using all different types of scratchers. Both have great litter tray habits and are very clean little cats. They both eat their kibble well and love their nightly raw or wet food. They love treats like freeze dried liver or minnows, Temptations, and cat grass. They have had access to a catio in the foster home which has been a great safe way to let them enjoy the sunshine and watch the birds/bugs. They have been around many different cats of different ages and temperaments and get along with them all. They have also been around multiple dogs of different sizes and temperaments and has no issues with them. Both Dolly and Brim have come a long way since coming into the rescue and both are blossoming into beautiful cats. He is absolutely the sweetest boy, with nothing but love to give! He has a very calm nature to him, despite having been rescued after an animal attack in Manitoba. Jonah recovered beautifully after surgery and has a droopy lower eyelid as a result. It does not bother him, it just leaks tears every now and again. This is the only damage he suffered from the attack, and he was very shut down at first. He has come so far and is really starting to blossom! His playful side is coming out as he learns by socializing with other cats. He especially loves playing with his foster sisters: Okra and Pickles! He may look like a big muscular Tom cat, but Jonah is the biggest softie, he’s very chill and laid back once you get to know him, and he has the BEST PUURRR ever! He appreciates pets (he will boof his forehead to your hand if he wants them) and loves food time. Jonah also meows when he wants something, he’s very good at telling you. He also enjoys being brushed, chasing wand toys and springs, kicking and playing with catnip toys, and the having the occasional snuggle beside you or on your lap. He gets along fine with other cats, dogs and children with proper introductions. They can often be seen snuggling together, exploring together, sharing the same food bowl and are very good at finding the toys that “go missing”. They can be chatty and love to greet you when you come home! Cat TV is something they also both enjoy watching for stimulation and enrichment. The laser pointer is also something they like to chase, but not for too long, otherwise Okra ends up panting because she won’t stop unless you make her take a break - such a silly kitten! These girls are great with other cats, would likely be fine around children who know how to respect their boundaries until they’re comfortable and adjusted to their new home, and don’t seem to mind dogs if they are cat savvy with slow introductions.
