Both Okra and Pickles are so affectionate, playful, snuggly, and curious. They both love wand toys and springs, they will ask to be picked up when they want your attention or affection, and they are both really good eaters. Okra sometimes needs to be reminded that she has to let Pickles finish eating before she licks her plate clean, and that playtime needs rest time in between (she doesn’t seem to have an “off” switch haha). They both enjoy being brushed, love treats, and have pretty good litter box habits. They play super well together, and they love their big foster brother, Jonah! They can often be seen snuggling together, exploring together, sharing the same food bowl and are very good at finding the toys that “go missing”. They can be chatty and love to greet you when you come home! Cat TV is something they also both enjoy watching for stimulation and enrichment. The laser pointer is also something they like to chase, but not for too long, otherwise Okra ends up panting because she won’t stop unless you make her take a break - such a silly kitten! These girls are great with other cats, would likely be fine around children who know how to respect their boundaries until they’re comfortable and adjusted to their new home, and don’t seem to mind dogs if they are cat savvy with slow introductions. Jonah recovered beautifully after surgery and has a droopy lower eyelid as a result. It does not bother him, it just leaks tears every now and again. This is the only damage he suffered from the attack, and he was very shut down at first. He has come so far and is really starting to blossom! His playful side is coming out as he learns by socializing with other cats. He especially loves playing with his foster sisters: Okra and Pickles! He may look like a big muscular Tom cat, but Jonah is the biggest softie, he’s very chill and laid back once you get to know him, and he has the BEST PUURRR ever! He appreciates pets (he will boof his forehead to your hand if he wants them) and loves food time. Jonah also meows when he wants something, he’s very good at telling you. He also enjoys being brushed, chasing wand toys and springs, kicking and playing with catnip toys, and the having the occasional snuggle beside you or on your lap.
